FEBRUARY 14, 2015: My Valentine’s Date

I guess I’m pretty lucky that my almost-17 year old daughter would prefer to spend Valentine’s Day having dinner and going to the range with her Daddy. We got to play with a number of fun toys, ranging from my Sig Sauer M400 AR15, to a variety of handguns, including a Sig P229 .40, a SW M&P Shield in a 9mm, my Kahr PM45, Beretta Nano, my old SW 915, and my new favorite, the HK VP9.

We had a great time together. And there is a very special peace of mind that you simply can’t understand – unless you have a daughter – that comes with a girl who is comfortable with and can handle a firearm safely and responsibly.

If you are in the Kansas City area, you need to check out this new range/retail concept – Frontier Justice. I may write a review on the place when I have a bit more time. For now, will say it is one of the cleanest, sharpest places I’ve been in. Definitely unique and interesting!
