Slow mornings in the blind this past weekend, but the opportunity to get some young folk out, enjoy a gorgeous foggy Kansas sunrise, and see all kinds of wildlife definitely made up for the lack of birds. And a few mallards stopped in here and there – just enough to keep things interesting and keep the kids engaged.
