November 5, 2017: The Hawk that Stole My Heart

If you know me you may well know how I feel about the attic-dwelling, wire-chewing, vent-destroying, tomato-eating, etc., etc., etc., tree rat.  If you don’t know this about me… well, let’s keep it simple.

I absolutely hate squirrels. No amount of cuddly and cute gets me past the damage I’ve seen them do… It’s insane what these little buggers can accomplish, and they can put a decent dent in one’s bank account if left unattended to for long. 

So you can imagine the warm fuzzies I get very time I recall this story and and think fondly of my dear old friend, Mr. Red Tail, and the day he paid a visit to my humble abode… The pictures sort of tell the tale from here.
