October 24, 2015: Duck Blinds/Battle Stations Ready

The last several weekends – as is typical of October – have been a series of blind-brushing-dove-hunting-dog-working days. This year included the addition of a new blind up in our more “northern” haunts.

Today we finished brushing the last of the three. And it was perfect day, cool, overcast, crisp and windy – out of the northwest, ideal for the blind we were brushing. To further that feeling we all get this time of year, our work day started with finding geese, mallards, and teal already sitting on our pond, and more working it.
